LTC Bullet: CLTCF Website Expands; Sponsorship Available

Monday November 12, 2001

Seattle—

The Center for Long-Term Care Financing's donor-only website zone (accessible from the Center’s homepage at www.centerltc.org) has a new feature you will not want to miss.  We call it "LTC Week in Review."

Each Monday afternoon, we will post a selection of news items gleaned from several health care industry resources (listservs, periodicals, newsletters, etc.). We scan these resources constantly looking for nuggets to share with you in LTC Bullets. Much of what we find is not a good fit for review and analysis in a Bullet, but is still important background information for everyone with an interest in long-term care public policy. We'll try to glean the kinds of items for "LTC Week in Review" that you would select to read if you could spare more time to troll for information. Sometimes, we'll interpret the material with an "LTC Comment," but we'll leave other items "raw." No more wading through mostly irrelevant stories and self-serving boilerplate on a smorgasbord of semi-related listservs, websites, and publications. Try it and let us know what you think!

All you have to do is qualify as a CLTCF donor, obtain your password and user name, and drop in once a week to read the latest news. If you do not already have a password and user name to access our donor-only website zone, please review the criteria for access at www.centerltc.org/bullets/archives2001/294.htm. Not yet a supporter? It’s easy. You can donate online via a secure server connection at www.centerltc.org/support/index.htm or send your tax-deductible contribution to the Center for LTC Financing at 11418 NE 19th St., Bellevue, WA 98004.

We want to express our appreciation to the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification (CLTCC) for sponsoring the content in "LTC Week in Review." If you would like to receive the same content in real-time daily "LTC E-Alerts" via email (instead of waiting for our weekly compilation in LTC Week in Review), the only way to do so is to qualify through the CLTCC. See http://www.ltc-cltc.com for details.

This new feature and others which are planned for the future (an interactive message board, audio/video clips of Center presentations, etc.) have prompted us to offer you the opportunity to sponsor the entire CLTCF website for a full month at a time. What a great way to increase exposure for your organization and help support the Center at the same time. Your sponsorship will be acknowledged prominently on the website homepage for all to see every time anyone visits to read our LTC Bullets, public policy reports, speeches, and other valuable resources including the new "LTC Week in Review" feature. Interested? Contact Amy Marohn, the Center’s Director of Marketing and Development, at amy@centerltc.org or 425-467-6840 x4.
